Last week at Eurographics conference main site, there were two big slides going down from the third floor. I guess all of us tried it, some of us did some races. It was really fun. I wonder if the students there use it a lot ... ?
They also had some math geometry room with all sorts of weird mathematical objects. And also many puzzles. I went twice there, spending a few hours total trying to solve the puzzles. It wasn't easy, but I managed to solve a few ones, especially the ones that did not require to construct anything (stop laughing !!).
Changing topic ... Yesterday, my father brought me a few asparagus. Not really enough for one meal, even for one person, so definitely not enough for 3. I thus looked for some recipes on the Internet and finally designed my own. I cut the tips which I kept to eat as such, covered with a vinaigrette sauce mixed with a mashed cooked egg. The rest was also smashed and mixed with the yellow part of one egg, cream, and the white part of the egg whipped. I did the same with some cooked carrots. Then, in a little pot, I put one layer of carrots, and then one layer of asparagus. You put the little pots in the oven for about 10 minutes and you get a really nice souffle. Too bad I did not make a picture. Eventually, next time, I will. So I served the souffle together with the asparagus tips on the side, covered by the egg/vinaigrette sauce. Both things were really good :D |
