For those who still don't know, I must confess, I love Orangina ! There is no soda that can be compared to it, in matter of taste or efficiency after a hard evening/night ;-)
It's been one year and 5 months I'm now living in Vienna, Austria. I discovered quite quickly that some products were just impossible to find in here, like normal ham, fajitas sauce, real pims, and orangina ! Unlike Deperados that you can find in some bars and for an excessive amount of money, Orangina was simply not existing. In the first few months, I tried to ask in bars, and then I gave up !
So now, anytime someone comes to visit me and has Orangina in his/her country, he/she brings me some. And when I'm abroad like in Madagascar, I put some in my suitcase to come back home ...
Last saturday, as Angie was visiting me, we did the Zab Classical Tour of the city, with a compulsory stop at the bar behind the Albertina museum. Because Angie wanted some fancy drink, I opened the menu and saw the word "orangina" in it ! Terrible dilemna, I had to choose between Orangina and beer ... I finally had the Orangina first ;-)
I had a hard time ordering it as the waitress did not know the word and was unsable to pronounce it, but then, when I got it, I was so happy that a photo was necessary to immortalise this moment ! At least now, there is ONE place in Vienna where I can find this magic drink ;-)
