Zabador's World

Badajoz is home

Thursday 20 September 2007 at 13:29:07

Here is a nerdy word game with about 3-4 different meanings for me :-) You have about 24 hours to guess what it means, and if someone even find all the meanings, I give him or her 100 euros :-) The post is in English because it only works in English. You probably have to know a bit of Spanish as well :-) Good luck !

Otherwise, various things ...

I was following a green car "Heineken" while coming here. Actually, I first managed to forget to take the "via de servicio" and was stuck on the highway for an additional 10 kms. Then, I turned around, and then only, I followed this car. Coincidence :-) ?

Yesterday evening, a guy was gliding above my house and the fields nearby. He had a parachute and a fan in the back! Very noisy, but he only used the fan to get up, then would shut it down and glide, and then use it again before touching the ground. Smart and nice. I wonder if I could buy myself such a thing. Zab was all curious about the thing and a little scared. But he spent several minutes watching the guy :-)

The Spanish course of today was finally a little interesting. We got the conjugaison (is that a word in English ?) of the verbs SER and ESTAR, and we learned lots of words. Basically, all the things you can find in a house. Maybe I will learn something after all. It might be a mix of Spanish and Italian though. Those are really not scared of inventing words and often, I can't tell the difference ...

En espagnol, Badajoz se prononce Badaroz, anagramme de Zabador. Ca saute aux yeux, nan? Zabador means home to me, Zabador is at home, and, whenever I drive home, I have to drive direction "Badajoz" (this is a town in Spain). Isn't it funny ?
