Last week, I spent a few days in London. I arrived on Thu. around 3pm at London City Airport. Ten minutes later, we were already out of the plane, the suitace waiting for us. A few more minutes and Angie was there to pick me up. We went to her flat first. Just a bit of time to unpack and put some order in Angie's flat and we went to the musical "Wicked". This is a story about the witches in the "Wizard of Oz", the ones that died at the beginning of the story. "Wicked" had been written afterwards and tell how the witches were born, raised, studied ... in other words, their lifes ! The two main characters are the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda, the Witch of Good or something like that. I must say that my background as well as my foreground on this tale is quite limited. I saw the cartoon when I was little, but not all of it. Anyways, "Wicked" gives you an explanation to the witch that dies smashed by a house, the tin guy, the lion and the scarecrow guy. Concerning the musical, I thought the two girls did a great job of acting and singing, also the Glinda one had to constantly use the voice of a little rich bitch which was not easy to sing. Some time, her real voice came through (and that was actually nicer !). The other girl had a very nice voice. The boy (hot guy, boyfriend, asshole guy) was desperatly bad, at all levels ! Acting was almost alright, dancing was terrible and don't let me start on his singing ! The songs were overall ok in my opinion, but not the kind of song you'll remember for the next 10 years (not even for one more day ! LOL). Very Disney like, but I thought it was in accordance with the story after all. The two best songs out of the 3 best ones involved the boy singing. And that was a pity because it destroyed the song completely ... so well, the only best one was probably the one about friendship that the two girls performed. lol. The costumes were awesome, and the overall performance of the other ones was good. I enjoyed it very much despite the "boy". lol.
Sinon, ben depuis, je suis en Bretagne, et je suis tres flemmarde, donc je ne poste pas beaucoup. Ah oui, aussi, mon retour de Londres a ete des plus penibles. Je suis tombee en pleine tempete. J'avais un vol a 12h au depart, mais ils ont ete tous annules, j'ai donc finalement pris celui de 19h40 qui est parti avec plus d'une heure de retard. Resultat, arrivee a Orly, j'av loupe mon vol pour Lorient, il etait 22h30 donc il n'y avait plus de trains non plus. Whylmiark s'est finalement decide a venir me chercher en voiture et a 2h du mat, j'arrivais a Rennes. Le lendemain, je suis enfin rentree a Plouhinec, donc voila, depuis, je me repose ! lol |
