Well, the war has to end ... I wanted it to end today, so I went to see my witness to organize the duel for today. Gunther proposed the duel last week, and I accepted. Together with the witness or judge, we decided to set up the duel at 1:30 pm today. I had one advantage: the one of the surprise, because Gunther did not know what the set up meeting was for.
My weapons ready, I began to wait 'till the right time. 1:30 pm rings ! I get out of the room, looking for my second witness. I find our judge in the corridor. He tells me: let's get Gunther. We open the door of Gunther's room, and, surprise, he's not here ! We have to postpone the duel for at least 10 minutes. The judge tells me to get Gunther later and come to his office.
15 minutes later, I go back to Gunther's place. He's still not here. His fucking friend (no word game here ;-) ) tells me he's not gonna be back before 3 pm, time for our lab meeting ! So well, once again, Gunther managed to escape ! But I do hope we will have this fight today, maybe after the lab meeting, otherwise, I know for sure he will simply forget about the discussion and forget to put my name on this paper for the submission ... pfff ... |
